Henbury
Each month we intend to publish a blog that highlights one of our main brands. This month we are going to look at Henbury. Taken from Henbury’s own marketing information they describe themselves as a brand with “classic, easy to wear styles for the modern corporate market”. We would agree this certainly sums up the Henbury brand and where they sit within the personalised clothing market.
A brief history of the brand. Established in 1997 with the aim of providing corporate, promotional and workwear clothing with fully co-ordinated styles for men, women and children, the brand grew quickly and soon established itself as one the UK’s market leading brands for polo shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, woven trousers, and shirts. From an initial range of 5 polo shirts the brand has grown to be one of the key manufacturers within the UK corporate and workwear market. Their key marketing message throughout that time has been that “clothes for work need to do exactly that, work”.
Here at JKL Clothing we have stocked and promoted the Henbury brand for over 10 years. During that time, we have seen many of our clients switch to using it as their staple uniform brand choice. One of the main reasons for this is the co-ordination of styles for both men and women. Many companies we deal with have company colours that they want to maintain through their uniform choice. is Henbury in a nutshell. Not the cheapest out there and perhaps not the
biggest range, although there is certainly enough choices of styles, colours,
and sizes to meet the most demanding buyer. But certainly, one of our top
performing brands that we go to time after time when recommending a clothing
brand for almost any workplace.
