We have been embroidering clothing for over 10 years now so there’s not a lot we don’t know about making an embroidered logo look good on a garment. Operating in-house we use the very latest embroidery machine technology in the form of state of the art Barudan embroidery machines.

The quality and final outcome of an embroidered garment is dictated by many factors started by setting up the logo or text. This is why at JKL we ensure each and every embroidered logo is set up correctly before we even consider producing a swatch sample of the logo for approval. This process is often referred to as punching the design or logo and involves looking at the logo design, the type and weight of fabric it is going onto, and the optimum size of the logo to ensure that what is produced is the best possible outcome in terms of how the logo looks and how closely it matches the artwork and colours our customers have provided.

An important factor in producing the best possible embroidery is the artwork, the better the artwork, the better the embroidery will come out. High-resolution artwork will make a difference to the finished product.

After an order is confirmed, we produce a swatch sample for our customers to approve before we embroider the logo onto their chosen garments. At this stage the customer has the option to make any changes they require to get exactly the end result they are looking for. This may incur an edit charge.

Once approved it then comes down to the quality of the embroidery machines used and the skill of the machine operative to make sure the final embroidered garment looks as good as possible.

How To Order Embroidered Clothing

There are so many options out there on the World Wide Web that it can be a bit of a struggle to find good quality embroidered clothing for either work or personal wear.

At JKL we like to think that we stand out from the crowd, we have many years experience in the embroidery and print personalisation sector so it's safe to say we know a thing or two. So let's jump into a little bit of information about us and how to order embroidered clothing.

The Embroidery Process

An embroidery logo needs to be set up or digitised so that it can be read by our embroidery machines. OK, on this one we will hold our hands up and admit this is not done in house. Why? Because it is a skill that can make or break the quality of the finished embroidered product. We prefer to use our digitising expert partner to guarantee a first class embroidery finish.

Once we have set up your embroidered logo we can then provide a sample for you to approve. You can then make amendments to your logo before it is embroidered onto your garments.

Fruit Of The Loom Clothing at JKL

Even though the textile industry is feeling the results from a global recession, Fruit of the Loom has managed to stay ahead of the game with poise. The reason being is because they are strong on quality items. And because of their sense of quality along with a valued reputation, Fruit of the Loom, which was launched in 1851, is now available at a very distinguished UK online store, JKL Clothing.

JKL Clothing is a clothing establishment focusing on casual wear, work wear, t-shirt printing, corporate clothing and embroidered clothing. With a reputation for delivering comfortable and protective clothing there’s a good reason why JKL Clothing and Fruit of the Loom make such a formidable team. A senior staff member at JKL Clothing stated that “Fruit of the Loom Value-weight t-shirts works perfectly with our customer base, the quality of their articles of clothing are sensibly priced, and from a printers standpoint they have wonderful textured surfaces for screen print.” There’s no question that Fruit of the Loom’s appeal for bespoke t-shirts was part of the fascination for JKL Clothing carrying their range of attire. As a matter of fact, JKL Clothing has been utilizing the Fruit of the Loom Value-weight t-shirts in practically all of their t-shirt printing production
for quite some time.

JKL Clothing carries an extensive catalogue from Fruit of the Loom including school uniforms, work polo shirts, promotional clothing, fleece jackets, leisure bottoms, full zip fleece, hoodies and men’s and women’s leisure wear just to name a few. For example; a Fruit of the Loom Men’s Zip Through Hooded Sweat Shirt cost [£19.08] including VAT. For screen printing on the same item, with a minimum of ten pieces, the price is in the region of [£2.00] extra. For embroidery, beginning with one of the same piece, the price is an extra [£2.25]. Altogether for an above-the-board quality customized cotton hooded sweat shirt, the price comes out fairly equitable.

JKL Clothing began in 1998, albeit they haven’t been in the business as long as Fruit of the Loom, they are nevertheless a compatible combination. Both stand for quality, integrity and prudence.
